Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and evaluate evidence based nursing care standards for specific patient population, participate/lead quality improvement initiatives across the hospital and within specific patient populations.
Consult and provide care to complex patient/families to meet patient/family needs. Serve as resource, mentor, and educator to hospital staff for specialty area.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Masters degree in nursing from a program that prepares clinical nurse specialist (CNS).
3-5 years Patient Care experience in acute care setting and or minimum of 2 years ICU experience required.
Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule:
Full time position (40 hours per week)
Day shift
Monday - Friday days predominately with the flexibility to meet unit needs.
