The Interventional Radiology Technologist position is responsible for assisting the interventional radiologists during procedures, requiring proficiency with both scrub and circulating techniques. Procedures performed include advanced peripheral vascular, endovascular and neuro interventional procedures. Pre and post procedural duties involve room set up, patient preparation, processing images and procedure data entry. Non-procedural duties include maintaining inventory and supplies; maintaining cleanliness and organization of procedure rooms and work areas; adherence to regulatory standards and National Patient Safety Goals.
We are seeking a Florida licensed Radiologic Technologist that is ARRT and CPR certified. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiology Technology program and possess a minimum 2 years experience as a dedicated Interventional Technologist with Neuro Interventional experience required. The ability to perform and scrub on all IVR procedures effectively, prioritize work and work under stressful situations is necessary. Knowledge of emergency procedures and sterile techniques is required; Vascular Intervention Technology Certification is strongly preferred.
This is a full-time position with the ability to work flexible weekday hours and rotate on-call weekdays, weekends & holidays.
