Description
The incumbent will be responsible for clerical administrative duties required to maintain the supporting office of the Occupational Health Center and assist with the UDS Specimen collections. Also responsible for assisting with clinical duties for adult and geriatric patients, ie (Vitals, injections and phlebotomy).
Strong customer service skills, communication and telephone skills. HCFA 1500 billing and collection experience.
Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certification
BLS certification from American Heart Association preferred
Education:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Graduate from an accredited program for medical assistants.
Two to three years front office and back office experience required.
