Neurophysiology Technician performs clinical Electroencephalograms, Electronystagmogram, and Evoked Potential recordings. Electroencephalograms maybe performed at the patients bedside, during surgery or in the Neurology Lab. Evoked Potential recordings may be done at the bedside or in the Neurology Lab. This position works closely with the neurology medical staff.
Qualifications
Education: High School graduate or equivalency required. Prefer training in a formal EEG program.
Certification/Registration: Registered Electroencephlographic Technologist preferred. Must have ability to become registered by December 31, 2011.
Experience: 1 year EEG experience preferred.
Management Experience: Teamwork environment.
Equipment/Machine Skills: Computer experience preferred.
Other Skills: Have good communication skills.
