ECI, the nations premier, privately owned emergency staffing and management company for over 35 years, is currently seeking qualified candidates for full and part-time positions in the Emergency Department at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, Illinois.
St. Johns Hospital is a 491-bed teaching facility, one of the largest facilities in downstate Illinois and one of the largest Catholic hospitals in the United States. The hospital has a large cardiac and pediatric program. In 2001 a renovation and new building project was completed in the Emergency Department, which serves an annual volume of 60,500 patients.
Springfield, the state capitol since 1837, is located in central Illinois and has a population of 113,000 residents. The area is rich in history, with much of it being associated with President Lincoln. The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum is a new attraction to the city of Springfield. There are few communities the size of greater Springfield that enjoy such a wealth of entertainment and cultural amenities.
Physicians must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine.
All physicians are Limited Liability Partners of Central Illinois Emergency Physicians, LLP and have the opportunity to participate in a 401(k) retirement savings plan. An insurance package at preferred group rates, which includes health, prescription, dental, vision, and life, is available via payroll deduction. Physician partners are provided with occurence-based malpractice coverage. Free Category One CME courses are also available online.
