The Medical Center of Arlington (MCA) is the JCAHO-accredited full service, acute care hospital in South Arlington where you can expect something special.

Description -

Delivers occupational therapy modalities to hospital inpatients and outpatients as assigned; performs treatment based on care plan or goals established by the licensed occupational therapist; follows standard of care in the delivery of modalities and follow up with progress; maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions.

Responsible for the delivery of occupational therapy services to hospital inpatients and outpatients as assigned. Performs treatment or intervention based on care plan or goals established by the licensed occupational therapist including but not limited to neurological,orthopedic,general medicine, oncology and other disease specific requring occupational therapy intervention.

Participates in coordination of care with department manager, physicians, department staff and ancillary services. Promotes and maintains a high customer service level. Responsible for the delegation of duties to support staff and maintains accountability of delegation.Adhere to the standards established by Occupational Therapy Practice Act.

Qualifications -

- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant degree from an accredited college. Current Texas COTA license.

- Current CPR Healthcare Provider.

- 1 year experience is preferred. Experience in physical disabilities, splinting, inpatient acute, rehab and outpatient care is preferred.
