Carle Clinic Association, a group practice consisting of more than 315-physicians, is seeking a BE/BC fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our 13-member Orthopedic Department at our main campus in Urbana, Illinois. Carle is one of the largest outpatient treatment centers in Illinois and has a service area of approximately 1.5 million residents. Our physicians place the highest priority in providing superior patient care while embracing a strong work and life balance.
*Dedicated OR access for Ortho-Trauma Service
*APPs provide clinical support with rounding/dictation/case management seven days a week, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
*Weekday call 1:5; weekend call 1:4
*Will provide assistance with fractures and difficult cases that may come in at other times of the month when the General Orthopedists are on-call
*Follow-up for fracture care is the only outpatient expectation.
*Work out of one hospital Carle Foundation Hospital, a 315-bed Level I Trauma Center for 16 counties
*Air medical transport stationed at Carle Foundation Hospital around the clock with a Carle team on-site and ready for departure within minutes
*Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign
