Advocate Medical Group (AMG), a large, multi-specialty group located in Chicago, Illinois, with more than 700 physicians representing more than 30 specialties, announces its search for an additional otolaryngologist for its busy, established otolaryngology practice.
AMG is part of Advocate Health Care, one of the nation´s leading integrated health care systems. Advocate Health Care is comprised of nine acute care hospitals, two children´s hospitals, a home healthcare company, and Chicago´s largest physician group. AMG provides ambulatory care at more than 75 freestanding clinic sites and hospital-based internal medicine at five Advocate Health Care hospital sites.
Advocate Medical GroupBeverly (AMGB), the outpatient practice site, is a multi-specialty clinic that offers an array of services including cardiac diagnostic testing, urgent care, disease management programs, including diabetes classes, congestive heart failure classes and asthma classes, electrocardiogram, gastroenterology, mammography, x-ray, a wound care clinic and an anti-coagulation clinic. Inpatient care is rendered at Advocate Trinity Hospital located in Chicago, just 15 minutes east AMGB, and also at Tinley Woods Surgery Center, an ambulatory surgery center located in Tinley Park, IL. Patient-centered care is the focus of AMGB and it has distinguished itself as one of the most trusted practices in the community. The growth of the Beverly community makes this opportunity immediately available.
The position encompasses a mixture of outpatient practice and surgery, allocated at 60% and 40% respectively. The practice employs a full-time audiologist and features a full spectrum of cases, extensive referral networks, state-of-the-art equipment, and will soon implement electronic medical records. Proven experience as a leader and an expert clinician is required.
The selected candidate will be board certified/board eligible in otolaryngology. Candidates with impending completion of residency training in 2010 are encouraged to apply.
