Wears headset, requires sitting for extended periods of time, about 95 percent of the time. Requires normal hearing and speaking in order to communicate over the phone. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a switchboard and keyboard.
While performing this job the employee is subject to punctures, muscle strain and paper cuts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. .
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED required. PBX training is preferred
Licensure/Certifications: None
Experience: One year in a similar capacity or formal PBX training program is required. Excellent telephone and communication skills, pleasing voice, clear diction, light typing and filing helpful.
