An assignment now exists on the Countys MAP team for:
PHARMACIST - Per Diem $51.81 Hourly
Working at Riverside County Regional Medical Center, the Pharmacist - Per Diem will compound and dispense drugs and pharmaceutical preparations for in-patients, out-patients, clinics, and unit personnel. Pharmacist - Per Diem work assignments are flexibly scheduled or on an as needed basis and receive additional compensation in lieu of Riverside Countys fringe benefits.
The qualified candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from a School of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education. A valid certificate of registration as a Licentiate in Pharmacy issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy and fulfillment of the continuing education requirements is also required. Knowledge of drugs, chemicals, and pharmaceutical supplies required in a dispensary operation is essential, as well as the methods used to compound a variety of prescriptions and stock pharmaceutical preparations.
