The Sandoval Regional Medical Center (SRMC) is actively seeking a President/Administrator who has proven experience in taking a startup organization to full operations.
The SRMC will initially be comprised of a 68 bed general community acute care teaching hospital with a medical office building located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, the largest city in Sandoval County which is adjacent to the greater Albuquerque area. Initial responsibilities will include the recruitment and hiring of the Executive Management Team and Medical Staff. Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, the President will provide strategic leadership for the organization by working with the Board of Directors and the Executive Management Team to develop and implement the long term strategic plan, to establish and execute major organizational goals and objectives and to develop and manage the organizations operating plan and budget.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of health care systems and hospital operations and have demonstrated ability to interact, relate to, work with and support the activities of highly qualified physicians and members of the organized medical staff. To be considered applicants must meet the following minimum requirements: Masters Degree in business, health care, hospital administration or a related field with 7 years of progressively more responsible experience at a senior management or administration level with a broad exposure to all functional areas of responsibility in a health care environment.
