Psychiatrist needed in Central, IL
A GENERAL ADULT PSYCHIATRY opportunity exists with BroMenn Health System in an upscale Central Illinois community which is the home base of State Farm Insurance. The new position is due to ncreased local demand and population growth. You would jointwo collegial general adult psychiatrists and work bothInpatient and Outpatient in a modern office housed on the BroMenn campus. Inpatient call approximately 1-in-5. Must be boarded within 3 years of eligibility.
We seek well-roundeddoctors rather than those whoknow only psychopharmacology. Practice includes ECT procedures. There is a 17-bed in-patient unit, but the practice is about 70% outpatient. Comfort with consultation-liaison (psychosomatics) a plus, as we are located at a general med-surg hospital. Willingness to work with local nursing homes (especially where BMG doctors serve as Medical Directors) a plus. Willingness to teach and supervise interns and F.P. residents a plus.
