Staff Registered Nurse Position. Financial Healther Services Center. Urgent Care or Family Practice Experience Desired.

Position Summary:

Provides direct nursing care and follow-up of occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses utilizing the nursing process and nursing standards of practice
Collaborates with other members of the on-site health & safety team, to include nurse practitioner, physician, wellness/prevention, safety, ergonomics, and EAP representatives to identify problems and propose solutions to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
Supports all wellness program initiatives
Responsible for clinical documentation using electronic systems
May interact directly with the client or client representative.
Represents the health center, as appropriate, in scheduled or ad hoc employer meetings regarding health and wellness events or strategic initiatives
Assists in training of other colleagues as directed and completes other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
3-5 years experience in Occupational Health or Adult Ambulatory Care nursing and/or Critical Care preferred.
Current NY State Licensure Current BCLS/AED certification
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong presentation skills Proficiency with the Internet & applicable software, Excel, Word processing, etc.
Excellent multi-tasking, time management and documentation skills
Strong commitment to customer service and team work.
