As a medical/surgical nurse and Officer on the U.S. Army Reserve Health Care Team, you can work in your community and serve when needed. Requirements include:
Associate degree in nursing from a program accredited by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education or accepted by the U.S. Secretary of Education
Between 21 and 42 years of age (health care professionals ages 43 to 60 are now eligible for a two-year service contract under the OAPP program)
Current, valid and unrestricted nursing license
Permanent U.S. residency
