Great opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer!
Senior Network Engineer trains and mentors staff. Coordinates the scheduling and efforts of the Network Engineers. Recommends implements and maintains network architectures for the Wide Area Network (WAN) and/or the Local Area Network (LAN). Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsible for establishing guidelines and metrics for system performance and disaster recovery.
Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Provides limited technical support for the installation, configuration, maintenance, design and monitoring of various VHS local and wide-area personal computer networks.
Performs evaluations, obtains quotes, and recommends the purchase of network hardware and software components to be deployed throughout the Abrazo network. Assists in the planning and implementation of new personal computer network technologies. Trains and mentors staff. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots network peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces Network hardware and software systems.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Provides limited technical support for the installation, configuration, maintenance, design and monitoring of various VHS local and wide-area personal computer networks. Provides on-call service, provides appropriate support documentation, communicates effectively with customers and vendors, interacts with customers using terminology they understand, assesses and identifies customer needs, Interacts effectively as a member of a team, meets deadlines, participates in group meetings.
Minimum education High School Diploma or equivalent GED. Preferred Associates Degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 5 years IT related experience and preferred experience any additional experience in hospital network infrastructure IT. Knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Cisco works, Access Control devices, DNS, DHCP and SQL.
