Sterile Core Tech

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of recent hospital experience in sterile processing or surgical services. National certification through the IAHCSMM or CBSPD, and/or equivalent state certification required.
Sterile Processing Tech II
(Req. #066706)
Candidates must be high school graduates or equivalent and have 1 year of previous hospital experience in sterile processing. Completion status in the Orlando Health SPD Core Course, and/or nationally certified through IAHCSMM or CBSPD, and/or equivalent state certification required. May substitute a minimum of 1 year of related hospital sterile processing experience for certification with successful completion of the Orlando Health SPD Core Course within the first year of employment.
