Our facility includes a spectacular Women´s Health Center which includes 13 Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Post Partum suites. These beautifully appointed suites have the 24/7 back up of University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children´s neonatologists, physicians and 24-hour OB house officer staff.
Detailed Position Description
Provides safe, efficient age specific nurse practitioner level care to patients/families using nursing/medical interventions/modalities in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
Responsibilities for planning, coordinating, and evaluating patient services in the department.
Essential duties include: Implements advanced assessment of patients physical and psychosocial health/illness status and initiates care; Coordinates the implementation of the nursing process and practice to provide effective and efficient care to patients/families; Supervises and serves as a resource to other health professionals; Communicates and collaborates clearly and effectively to enhance patient care and facilitate unit operations; Demonstrates leadership in the practice of nursing to promote quality patient care.

Position Requirements
Demonstrated competence in pediatrics or family practice. Demonstrates strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients.
Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet education and patient care needs eg. Stethoscope, cardio-respiratory monitor
Education Requirements
Nursing Doctorate or Master of Science in Nursing with Advanced Practice
License/Certification Requirements
Current Ohio Nursing license; Nurse Practitioner Certification
