Experienced Transcription Supervisor needed in Lebanon OR.
Medical language specialist who interprets and transcribes dictation by
physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding patient assessment, workup, therapeutic procedures, clinical course, diagnosis, prognosis, etc., in order to document patient care and facilitate delivery of healthcare services. Supervises transcriptionists with assistance from Department Manager.
Supervisory/leadership experience required.
One of the following required:
A. Completion of a Medical Transcription program.
B. Completion of an accredited Health Records related program including courses in medical terminology, anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology.
Two (2) years medical transcription experience in a hospital setting required.
AHDI Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT) required.
Experience and/or training in computer applications including experience with word processing equipment, dictation equipment/software and other office equipment required.
