This position is at the Concord facility. Detailed Position Description
The CVT II is responsible for maintaining the equipment and supplies; assists in the acquisition of data by performing EKG, and with application of holter/event monitors independently; including explanation of test, application of electrodes using accepted techniques and placement, recognizes the difference between acceptable waveforms, artifact and rhythm abnormalities. Assists with stress echo and nuclear stress testing according to hospital and departmental policy. Properly bills for completed procedures. Must demonstrate the ability to assess patient�s status and identify each patient�s requirements relative to their age specific needs.
Position Requirements
- Successful completion of training as a cardiovascular Technician, strong communication, team-work, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
- Stress testing, holter monitors, EKGs, event monitors, vital signs and basic computer skills.
Education Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular technology program, or at least 1 year of experience as a cardiovascular technician I
License/Certification Requirements
- BLS
