Duties:Directs and/or participates in the performance of professional dental work at an institution.Qualifications:Doctors degree from an accredited school of dentistry, AND two years experience in the practice of dentistry.Note: A valid Washington State license to practice dentistry is required.Agency InformationThe Department of Corrections has two openings for a Dentist 2 at Stafford Creek Corrections Center in Aberdeen, Washington.STAFFORD CREEK CORRECTIONS CENTER (SCCC) is located five miles west of Aberdeen. The 1,936-bed multi-custody facility recently implemented the first residential therapeutic community for medium custody offenders: a nine to twelve month chemical dependency program that is the most intensive form of primary treatment available with DOC.There are seven living units for medium and minimum long-term custody offenders and an intensive management unit for maximum-custody offenders.
