Experienced Physician Assistant needed for full-time position in Trauma Surgery at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.
Mission Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center, is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to work in our busy trauma surgery department. Applicant would be joining a team of five MDs and two PAs. Preferred applicants will have two or more years of experience in either General Surgery or Emergency Medicine. The position involves managing a broad range of medical and surgical conditions. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, working in Missions outpatient clinic, making daily rounds with MDs, providing surgical first assists, performing technical procedures, responding to the ED to assist with trauma resuscitations, and assisting with provider education (in-house and regionally).
