A second Child-Adolescent Psychiatrist is needed to join the Psychiatry Department at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare - Mayo Health System in La Crosse, WI. Board certification/eligibility in Child-Adolescent Psychiatry is required. The practice will primarily include child-adolescent outpatient psychiatry. A second child-adolescent psychiatrist will allow improvement in same-day access. Franciscan Skemp has a well-established Child Development Service and an adolescent DBT program. There is also a day-treatment service integrated with the area schools. The Psychiatry Department/ Behavioral Health Services at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare includes four general adult psychiatrists, a child-adolescent psychiatrist and an extensive team of clinical psychologists (including a child-adolescent psychologist), nurse clinicians, Masters prepared clinical therapists, social workers, RNs and a chemical dependency staff. Our child-adolescent psychiatrist currently participates in the general psychiatry call schedule, and candidates will be expected to do the same. This includes weekend call coverage and rounding for the 16-bed adult inpatient treatment unit.Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare are focused on acute and community mental health services and are integrated into each of the FSH regional primary care clinics. This busy general Urology practice is based at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare’s main clinic and hospital facility in La Crosse, WI, and will include seeing patients at the new regional clinic in Onalaska, WI, located directly north of La Crosse. Expertise in current urologic procedures is expected with laparoscopic skills desirable. Call will be shared equally (1:3).Franciscan Skemp Healthcare, a Multispecialty group/healthcare network, part of the Mayo Health System, with a primary care population base of 240,000, has 200+ physicians and associate providers. Referrals to the Urology Department come from physicians within our health system, as well as the La Crosse-Mayo Family Medicine Residency Program and independent physicians within 60 miles of La Crosse. In addition to the medical facilities in La Crosse, Franciscan Skemp has eleven Family Medicine offices in smaller communities within a 60-mile radius of La Crosse in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota & Iowa, with hospitals located at two of these sites.
