Responsibilities: Classroom instruction and clinical supervision of undergraduate Physician Assistant courses; evaluate student performance; advise students; curriculum development; assist in program administration and other scholarly activities. Faculty will be involved in academic and/or clinical programming. The clinical coordinator will work with the Director of the Physician Assistant Program to develop and retain required and elective clinical rotation sites, coordinate rotation site utilization, and develop and maintain an evaluation plan that routinely evaluates clinical sites and student performance within the sites. The clinical coordinator will participate in small group and lecture activities within the pre-clinical curriculum. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors degree required. An advanced degree is required for appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Clinical experience and current NCCPA certification as a Physician Assistant are necessary. Prior teaching experience at the University level will be considered an asset.Resumes will be accepted until the position is filled.
