Established in 1954, New England Dermatology & Laser Center has gained the reputation as one of the premiere group dermatology practices in New England.
Located in the heart of New England in Springfield, Massachusetts, we draw from a large geographic area seeing approximately 75,000 patients annually. We are recruiting a dermatologist to join nine board-certified dermatologists including a Mohs surgeon and a dermatopathologist, four certified physician assistants, and three aestheticians, who are supported by a highly talented and dedicated staff of seventy.Our main office in Springfield is a 15,000 square foot world class facility containing 15 fully equipped examining rooms, a Mohs suite with three large operating rooms and a full-service Mohs histopathology lab, a five room cosmetic and laser suite containing state-of-the-art lasers and a phototherapy suite with three full-body NB UVB/PUVA units and four hand/foot units. We maintain satellite offices in the nearby communities of Holyoke, Longmeadow and Westfield. All of our offices are fully computerized with EMR and digital photography.We are affiliated with Baystate Medical Center, a 600-bed tertiary care center, the third largest acute care hospital in New England. Baystate Medical Center is the Western Campus of Tufts University School of Medicine.The Community:Springfield is located on the banks of the Connecticut River and is considered the crossroads of New England as it is an easy day-trip to reach Cape Cod, the Berkshire Mountains, Boston, New York City, and any of the six New England states. There are eight colleges and universities nearby which offer a variety of cultural and sporting events.
