BC/BE Family Practice or Internal Medicine Physician needed for a Community Based Outpatient Clinic in NE.
STG International, Inc., a leading provider of contract staffing services in the government healthcare and human capital sectors, is currently seeking to fill one (1) full-time Primary Care Physician (PCP) position to support services on a potential contract located in Scottsbluff, NE.This contract is in support of a Community Based Outpatient Clinic that will be funded through the Veterans Administration. STG International, Inc. will be is in an active bidding process and position availability is contingent upon STG being awarded the contract. The schedule would be Monday - Friday, approximately 8:00am - 5:00pm (No weekends, No overtime, No holidays, No call. Patients seeking care outside normal business hours are required to go to the VA Hospital or another emergency facility).Requirements: Retention of an active, full and unrestricted medical license in the state in which the physician practices. (Must have an active license in the state of Nebraska OR be willing to obtain if hired for this position). Board-certified or board eligible within four (4) years of residency completion in either Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice. Retain current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is highly encouraged. Experience with Women´s Health: The PCP must also have experience with Women´s Health in order to provide a complete range of primary care including gender-specific, acute and chronic illness, preventative and mental health care in the context of an ongoing patient-clinician relationship. Essential components include but are not limited to: pelvic/breast exams, contraception, osteoporosis, menopause, pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, sexually transmitted disease management, breast and cervical cancer screening and prevention, and screening for a history of sexual trauma.
