* This progressive Hospital System is seeking three BC/BE Cardiologists to join their hospital based multi-specialty practice due to growth in the group and a need in the community.* Physician must be board certified &/or board eligible with the intention of attaining board certification in their specialty within a reasonable amount of time.* This 300 bed Hospital was one of the first hospitals in the region and provides a full spectrum of medical services for a ten county region with approximately 500,000 people.* The Hospital owned multi-specialty group includes family medicine, pediatric care, orthopaedic surgeons, ENT, radiation oncology, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, and chiropractic care.* As the regions fastest growing Heart and Vascular Institute they offer comprehensive cardiac services that include general cardiology clinics and specialized clinics devoted to congestive heart failure, ICD and pacemaker management, smoking cessation, as well as preventive and rehabilitation services.* The Cardiology Department, in conjunction with the Emergency Department, has led the efforts to become one of the first in the nation to receive accreditation for the hospitals Chest Pain Center.* They have three new, larger cath labs featuring the Philips Allura Xper FD20, an imaging system that is a complete cardiovascular X-ray lab used in a full range of diagnostic and interventional procedures using a ceiling-mounted C-arm, high resolution LCD monitors, a cardiovascular table and a viewing console.* The Allura Xper FD20 is able to provide the most appropriate image quality for all clinical applications at the lowest possible X-ray dose.* Their new cath labs are also equipped with state of the art technology including Datascope Intra-aortic balloon pumps, Boston Scientific i-Lab IVUS, Crash Carts with bi-phasic defibrillators, McKesson Horizon Cardiology CPACS, Med Rad power injectors, Abbott I-Stat point of care testing devices, and Psosis Angiojet. * Their cath labs are staffed with highly trained professionals that include Registered RNs, Respiratory Therapists, Radiology Technologists (CVT) and are all ACLS and critical care trained. * Procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Labs include diagnostic caths (2000/year), PCI (700/year), Pacemakers (200/year), ICD/CRT/CRT-D (120/year), Peripheral Angiograms and Peripheral Interventional cases, and TEE/Cardioversions.* The Hospital does 300 to 325 Open Heart Surgeries per year and has Cardiothoracic Surgeons located on campus.* They participate in clinical research trials with the National research consortiums.* Qualified candidates will receive a competitive salary commensurate with training, experience, and board certification.* Excellent employment agreement includes productivity and quality bonus, as well as sign on bonus.* Generous benefit package includes malpractice, family health and dental, life, and disability insurances; vacation; CME and expense allowance; 401K retirement plan; relocation expense; and professional dues.* These incoming cardiologists will be employed by the Hospital owned multi-specialty group.* Call coverage will be shared with a six person cardiology group making the general call schedule 1:7 and the Interventional call 1:4.Located in northwest Ohio halfway between Toledo and Dayton, Allen County has approximately 120,000 residents.
