An Assistant/Associate Professor level faculty position in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah with a minimum of three years of research experience and potential for securing independent funding. Applicants should have training and experience that demonstrates expertise in epidemiology, computer modeling, public health surveillance, and project management. The primary appointment for this position will be in the Division of Epidemiology. A multitude of opportunities for collaborative research exist in areas such as clinical and public health decision support systems, computer-based surveillance, and modeling of infectious diseases transmission exist at the University of Utah and Salt Lake City Veterans Health Care System.
