We are looking for an outstanding Physician Assistant to be the Director of Employee Health. This is a new position. This position will manage both the Employee Health and the Workers Compensation departments in our beautiful, new medical building. The ideal candidate must have both CA Workers Comp experience and Employee Health experience while working in an Acute Care or Clinic setting. The professional candidate will have excellent clinical assessment skills and clinic management skills in order to conduct the pre-employment and annual employee physicals; process claims for work-related injuries and coordinate any necessary treatment. You will interact with third-party administrator (TPA) and provides required assistance with investigation and documentation. Coordinates modified return-to-work programs; interface with the Employee Assistance Program to ensure maximum utilization by employees.This position reports to the Vice President of Human Resources. The position requires a PA license, current CPR. Must have 3-4 years experience as a staff PA plus 1 year of Employee Health experience. Ability to work with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
