The Reading Hospital and Medical Center (TRHMC) is seeking a senior-level Clinical Trials Manager to play a key role in the coordination and expansion of their clinical research efforts, in particular in the area of industry-sponsored clinical trials.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: * Identifying and securing industry-sponsored clinical research projects to be conducted at or in association with TRHMC.* Leading the development and implementation of clinical research practices, policies, protocols and standards to support research efforts and regulatory compliance at TRHMC.* Supervising the management of clinical trials, recruitment and retention efforts, operational issues, relationships within the Clinical Trials Office and with other departments within TRHMC, and reaching out to appropriate community resources and events.* Evaluating potential clinical research trials for site and protocol feasibility at TRHMC (e.g., identification of resource and staffing needs, study design, access to appropriate study subjects, procedures required, timing and mapping of assessments, expected protocol milestones, etc.).* Providing leadership, supervision and development of the Clinical Trials Office Team at TRHMC.To qualify for this exciting and challenging opportunity, we require:* A Bachelor´s degree in a Health Science or related field. Master´s degree preferred.* Demonstrated experience identifying and securing industry-sponsored clinical research trials.* A minimum of ten (10) years experience managing the various aspects of clinical trials at the sponsor, sponsor-designee, CRO, affiliate, vendor and/or site level.* Demonstrated experience managing multiple research projects simultaneously and allocating resources among these projects.* Demonstrated knowledge of the field of clinical research to include performing protocol and site feasibility; planning, executing and analyzing clinical research trials; and an in-depth understanding of associated regulations, guidelines and ethics. * Experience in educating and training health professionals on clinical research processes.* Strong computer application experience, in particular the Microsoft Office suite of products.Achieving Excellence in a Patient-First Environment.
