Located in the breathtaking Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York, a Non-Invasive cardiologist who is Board Certified in Nuclear Cardiology is needed to join a 20-year-established, very successful and very busy interventional cardiologist. The earning potential is outstanding!The owner of this practice needs the new cardiologist to perform the following non-invasive skills: Nuclear cardiology, do TEEs and Stress Echoes. Certification in Nuclear Cardiology would be a very strong plus.If so desired but not required, there is also opportunity to read non-invasive carotids and peripheral studies. The new cardiologist will work in an office building that was built last year which has a nuclear camera on sight. In addition, the office is fully equipped with state of the art stress testing, Holter monitoring and echocardiography. It has an accredited transthoracic and stress echo laboratory.Call will be 1 in 4 weeknights and 1:5 weekends. It is shared with other cardiologists in the area.You will admit to one hospital which is located only ten minutes from the office. This hospital provides both primary care and a full range of secondary level services. A full range of diagnostic modalities is available including spiral CT scanning, nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), cardiovascular diagnostics and complete gastroenterology service. The starting salary is between $350,000 (for a fellow) to $400,000 (someone with experience) plus a productivity incentive. There is opportunity to become a full partner after two years. When one becomes a partner, the earning potential is $700,000!This beautiful and scenic city has a catchment area with approximately 175,000 residents.
