Clinic Manager would be over Medical Associates which has a 6 FPs and 6 Pediatricians. The clinic is a Bozeman Deaconess Health Group and employed by the hospital and located in the hospital.Clinic Manager is responsible for organizing and managing clinic operations of a BDHG clinic. The Clinic Manager provides leadership and direction of all aspects of clinic activities to ensure accomplishment of its clinical and business objectives and compliance with regulatory initiatives including JCAHO. This position oversees the activities of all clinic staff and activities in conjunction with clinic physicians. Manages financial performance of HG clinic and responsible for developing and meeting clinic budget. Manages 5 or greater providers.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1.20%Manages operations, coordinates workflow and staffing resources in clinic and maintains communication with medical providers and staff to ensure high productivity and budgetary compliance.2.20%Supervises clinical* and administrative staff, including recruitment, retention, performance evaluation, and payroll for multi specialty clinic.3.10% Demonstrates effective leadership and communication to staff regarding organizational policy, philosophy and performance expectations and implementation of electronic medical records.4.10%Chairs clinic operating committee, documents meeting minutes, facilitates implementation of committee decisions and manages administrative tasks for providers.5.10%Collaborates with the Director of Clinic Operations of BDHG and hospital administration in forecasting and preparing annual budgets and manages clinic operations budgets and productivity standards.6.10%Assures activities of clinic are in compliance with all regulatory agencies and JCAHO.*Nurse Practice Standards and Nurse Clinical Education supported by VP Clinical ServicesADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Additional 20% of time dedicated to:1.Represents clinic and interacts with professional and community groups2.Delegates appropriate authority and responsibility to staff. 3.Maintains positive public relations and serves as liaison with other hospital leaders and the public 4.Develops improved supervisory techniques and practices;5.Ensures that patients are treated courteously by office staff and that other visitors are screened and properly directed6.Maintains professional development to keep current in the latest health care trends and developments;7.Maintains strictest confidentiality of patient and business information8.Assists staff in developing and implementing short and long term work plans and objectives for clerical functions9.Helps staff establish deadlines for work assignments and completion as well as monitors work status and progress10.Oversees office payroll and leave records11.Approves office supply inventory and ensures office is opened and closed according to procedures12.Serves on hospital committees as requested.13.Collaborates with Quality Coordinator in development and monitoring of clinic quality plans and National Patient Safety Goals14.Complies with policies and procedures of Bozeman Deaconess Hospital15.Initiates Performance Improvement activities for clinic that supports National Patient Safety Goals and Joint Commission Accreditation
