Catalyst Professional Services, Inc is seeking a full time Psychiatrist for a position that is part of the Navy´s Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (PH and TBI) program. This program is designed to improve the care for soldiers returning from deployment who are suffering from TBI or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Psychiatrists primary work location is the Naval Branch Health Clinic, Construction Battalion Center (CBC), Gulfport, MS facility. However, the health care worker may have an occasional need to travel to other local facilities to accomplish assigned duties. Qualifications: a. Possess board certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry or the American Osteopathic Association, OR b. Possess residency training in Psychiatry and not less than 3 years of experience within the last 5 years as a full-time Psychiatrist. c. Have pertinent clinical experience within the past 2 years sufficient to demonstrate current clinical competency for the setting and procedures required. Any state licenses are accepted and medical malpractice is provided at Federal Workplaces. Great paid time off plan and competitive pay.

Primary role will be to aid in the rehabilitation of soldiers suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or mild Traumatic Brain Injury as a result of deployment. Qualifications: Education: Contract service provider shall hold a Doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from a program that was at the time of graduation accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program and must have completed an APA approved clinical psychology internship. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have and maintain a current license to practice Clinical or Counseling Psychology or to independently practice psychology in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services. Experience: Have been continuously employed in the practice of medicine or in training for the one year prior to the commencement of services under this contract. Clinical experience diagnosing and treating primary care conditions and knowledge of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and related conditions.
