ASSOCIATE PROGRAM DIRECTOROral and Maxillofacial Surgery Christiana Care Health System (CCHS) is one of the largest, privately owned, not-for-profit academic affiliated health care systems in the United States. The Associate Program Director will assume the full-time responsibility for a well-established, long-standing residency program in one of the largest health care providers in the mid-Atlantic region. The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Hospital Dentistry is an autonomous department within the Christiana Care Health System. There are no competing residencies (e.g. ENT/Plastic). In this integral role, the selected individual will pursue the development of a faculty practice, expanding the OMS Residency Training Program, and will participate in scholarly and leadership activities of the hospital, leading to an eventual Chairmanship. LICENSURE IS AVAILABLE WITHOUT STATE BOARD EXAMINATION. Qualified candidates will be ABOMS/Board Certified with a DDS/DMD and MD degree, and must have completed a Fellowship in an institution accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, preferably in head and neck oncology/reconstruction, with additional expertise in maxillofacial trauma and full scope OMS.
