The clinical work will be based in our Occupational and Environmental Medicine Clinic, where the case mix includes work injury management, clinical toxicology, independent medical examinations, permanent impairment ratings, fitness for duty assessments, disability management and pre-placement evaluations and medical surveillance. Other responsibilities include supervising nurse practitioners in Occupational Medicine, managing occupational health and safety programs and assisting with management at off site, local industry-based satellite clinics. Teaching opportunities include medical students, postgraduate students, graduate school lecturing and CME lecturing. You will also be encouraged to collaborate in identifying research projects and funding. Requirements include board certification in occupational medicine and certification as a Medical Review Officer, along with 3-5 years post-graduate clinical/programmatic experience at an occupational medicine clinic, including program development and oversight.
