Position Summary: Performs retrospective deficiency analysis on all outpatient records. Abstracts clinical data from the medical records for statistical and research purposes. Also, assigns the ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 codes as well as designate the appropriate DRG per record under prospective payment guidelines. Position Summary: Responsible for the administration, coordination and supervision of research pharmaceutical services at GUH. Coordinates all aspects of pharmaceutical needs for patients participating in investigational protocols and receiving chemotherapeutic and non-chemotherapeutic agents including but not limited to: implementation and distribution of medication order and investigational drugs, devices, and biologics order; provide assurance of appropriate dose, route, frequency and duration of therapy; review patient medication profiles for drug-drug interactions, duplication of therapy, drug allergy interactions and appropriate regimens; coordinate patients pharmaceutical needs with physicians and nurses. Must have and maintain current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and should be certified or eligible for mammography registration within one year of start date. Skills in operating stationary and mobile x-ray equipment and in instructing others in proper use are desired.
