In this role, you will be responsible for performing financial, operational and compliance audits. You will also use computer assisted auditing software to incorporate technology into the auditing process. The audit process encompasses developing an internal audit scope, performing internal audit procedures, and preparing internal audit reports. Additional duties include assisting Internal Audit management with periodic reporting to the Audit Committee, developing the annual internal audit plan, and conducting training as necessary. The ideal candidate would also have experience in performing IT audits and have a sound knowledge base of IT security and controls.Qualifications include a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline. 5+ years of public accounting and/or private industry experience with knowledge of accounting, finance and internal control areas is required. Prior healthcare experience is a plus. Experience auditing information systems, working knowledge of ACL or similar electronic auditing tools and/or knowledge of HIPAA Security standards beneficial.
