Preferred candidate will be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with subspecialty training and board certification/eligibility in perinatology, possess several years of clinical experience and a strong interest in the teaching and academic mission of a university affiliated, community teaching hospital. Oakwood Annapolis Hospital (OAH) in Wayne, Michigan is seeking a psychiatrist to join its Family Medicine Residency Program

To join its 30 resident and 18 faculty Family Medicine Program to coordinate and administer the residents psychiatric educational program. Teach psychiatry to residents and medical students, both in clinical venues and through lectures/seminars. Assist with the planning and coordination of students experiences and curriculum, CME activities, research and clinical activities that support the education program. Work with the Program Director and other faculty in implementation of the communication skills and behavioral health curriculum. Additional responsibilities include inpatient and consultative services for patients at OAH. B/C in Psychiatry with at least 5 years of clinical practice experience, experience with children, preferably with exposure to managed care. OAH is located in Wayne, MI in the suburban corridor between Detroit and Ann Arbor.
