The Occupational Therapist upon physician referral evaluates, develops, establishes and carries out a prescribed therapy program for patients of various ages that will work towards optimal functioning. Key deliverables in the first 6 - 9 months will be to develop the implementation plan and to hire staff to support the Physician Connectivity initiative and EMR donation strategy. The person in this position also will be responsible for the following:- Managing the IT environment in Overlakes employed physician division (Overlake Medical Clinics, LLC) - Facilitate productive relationships between Overlake and affiliated provider partners and independent community physicians - Refine and implement growth and quality strategies for physician connectivity, collaboration, real time data collection, and information sharing - Managing a team (anticipated to be comprised of systems analysts, network analyst, data analyst, advance team specialists, informaticist, and trainer) that will support the pre-implementation practice assessments, work/process re-design, training, and implementation/optimizationBachelors degree required, with Masters or higher preferred. Department: Radiation Oncology Schedule: On-Call / Per Diem Shift: Variable Hours: Varied Hours Hours/Pay Period: Per Diem Job Details: Overlake Hospital in Bellevue is looking for a per diem/on-call Dosimetrist to measure and generate radiation dose distributions and calculations under the direction of the Radiation Therapy Physicist and Radiation Oncologist. Coverage is needed to replace a full-time Dosimetrist during pre-scheduled vacations and, preferably, for last-minute emergent issues. Coverage is typically needed in 1 to 2 week blocks, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus occasionally one to several days at a time. This person must be able to understand the technical aspects of radiation oncology and medical physics to derive computerized treatment plans, and communicate these aspects to the Radiation Oncologist for plan approval, and to the Radiation Therapist for plan implementation. Must have met all requirements to be eligible for certification by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board. Certification must be obtained within 18 months of employment as a Dosimetrist.
