You will help expand clinical and research programs, assist in recruiting high caliber talent, and promote the highest standards of care. You must have a M.D. or D.O. degree with Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and an unrestricted state medical license. Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, a major teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, is a Level lll hospital, licensed for 617 acute inpatient beds and 65 bassinets with 14 labor/delivery/recovery rooms, 28-bassinet Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and state-of-the-art antepartum diagnostic center. You will work and share call in an independent and autonomous midwifery practice with other CNMs who have a collaborative relationship with 5 OB/GYNs. As a team player, you will provide gynecology/well-woman, antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum care at Saint Francis Hospital and the Family BirthCare Center. Saint Francis is a level III hospital with excellent perinatal support 24/7. Qualified candidates must be a Licensed Nurse Midwife in the State of CT. Our central Connecticut location offers easy access to all the amenities of the New England region, including first-rate schools, a choice of exciting city living or upscale suburban communities.
