OB/Gyn Laborist Needed for Suburban Kansas City Medical Center.

Shawnee Mission Medical Center is searching an OB/Gyn Laborist for our first-of-its-kind Laborist program in the Kansas City metro area. Physicians primary responsibilities will include managing OB crises and caring for the unassigned OB patient both in the OB/Gyn department and in the ED. Physicians will also manage clinical emergencies for private patients in the absence of their attending physician. Physicians will work 7-8 24 hour shifts per month, including possibly one weekend per month. Occupational Medicine physician needed to join Corporate Care of Shawnee Mission Medical Center, located in suburban Kansas City.

Shawnee Mission Corporate Care has four locations across the Kansas City metro area, all providing full occupational medicine care, including pre-employment physicals, drug-testing, post-injury care, physical therapy, and radiology services. Each location also employs a full-time LPN, Medical Assistant, Physical Therapist, and Radiology Technologist. Clinic hours are 8am to 5pm, no call coverage, no weekends required.Competitive salary with quarterly bonus structure based on patient/client satisfaction. Group of 3 Endocrinologists employed by Shawnee Mission Physicians Group, a highly respected group in the Kansas City Metro area. This group is employed by Shawnee Mission Medical Center. This practice sees the full range endocrinology, however is focused mainly on diabetes. Thyroid, adrenal, and osteoporosis make up the rest of this very busy practice. The practice also provides insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring, and is involved in clinical trials. This is a good opportunity for a physician who would enjoy being involved in research; however that is not a requirement. This physician will also be busy from day 1, basically walking into a full practice.
