Medical TechnologistFull-timeDay shift (alternating weekends/holidays)Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related sciences. Licensed in NYS as a Medical Technologist. Experienced preferred. Excellent communication and customer service skills required.Selected candidate will be responsible for the identification of pathogenic organisms, be they bacterial or parasitic, and the performance of susceptibility testing. The technologist is responsible for other procedures that support the completion of the primary objective. Special tests and send out handling are also part of the technologist´s duties.

Medical Technologist/GeneralistFull-time 12 midnight to 8 a.m.&Per Diem (all shifts available)Qualifications: BS in Medical Technology or related science or qualified under NYS Department of Health as a Medical Technologist. New York State license required. Previous experience in all areas of Chemistry, Hematology and Blood Bank. Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.Selected candidate will be responsible for determining the suitability of samples, reagents and identifies any errors in matching patient samples and results. Performs testing of patient, controls, standards and proficiency testing as outlined in the procedures manual.
