The town of Balcarres is located roughly
halfway between Regina
and Yorkton
in east central Saskatchewan, at the
edge of the scenic Qu'Appelle
Valley region.
Balcarres can trace its roots back
to the 1870s, although development
of the town took off with the creation
of a Canadian Pacific Railway stop
in the community in 1903.
The Hospital and Rehabilitation sites of the
Regina Health District - The Regina General Hospital,
The Pasqua Hospital, and the Wascana Rehabilitation
Centre - each Play a vital role in providing health
care to all residents of Southern Saskatchewan.
