A puzzle-loving
diagnostician
Your patients are often older, "repeats,"
with multiple and complex problems. As
a result, you're the sort of person who
likes a puzzle. You thrive on the intellectual
challenge involved with learning about
the diseases of all bodily systems and
bringing your assessment and observational
skills to help with diagnoses. This is
also a great base from which to go on
to specialize in specific types of medical
patients, or in other areas, like medical
ICU.
Suzanne Allen discovered early on in her nursing
career that respect for all patients – regardless
of what condition they are in – is the most
important lesson to learn. Here's
her story.
