You must meet the often conflicting
needs of patients, doctors, insurance
companies, different levels of government,
and the entire clinical and non-clinical
hospital staff. Your management successes
depend on your business acumen, your
negotiating skills, and, most importantly,
a character-based leadership style. In
healthcare, this means you lead with
action and motivate emotionally, not
just materially.
Change for change's sake is never a good idea.
