The town of Indian Head, known as
the Qu'Appelle Valley's "agricultural
center," lies 70 kilometers (44 miles)
east of Regina
in southeastern Saskatchewan. It's
also the home of it's own interesting
landmark – a five-meter (18-foot),
1,588-kilogram (3,500-pound) statue
of an Indian head, produced for the
town in 1985.
First settled in the 1880s, Indian
Head was incorporated in 1902....
This town, known as the agricultural center of
the scenic Qu'Appelle Valley, offers a museum to
rural athletes who made it big, nearby access to
two provincial parks, full community services,
and more!
