Loxahatchee, which is part of Palm
Beach County, can probably be considered
the suburb of a suburb. Technically
part of the Miami-Fort
Lauderdale metro area, it's still
almost 80 miles to downtown Miami,
and is basically on its outskirts.
It has a rural setting, and a small
town lifestyle, including unpaved roads,
rolling farmland, and plant nurseries.
