Middletown is a city of 51,605 in
southwestern Ohio.
It is 22 miles (35 kilometers) southwest
of Dayton
and 27 miles (43 kilometers) north
of Cincinnati,
and was named for its location midway
between those two cities. Middletown
is in Butler
County, and not to be confused
with the two other Ohio communities
named of the same name.
