Have you ever played baseball at midnight?
The residents of Pangnirtung (often
referred to as Pang) do it every summer
… without having to use floodlights.
It's just one of the advantages of
living in the land of the midnight
sun, where you can experience 24 hours
of daylight during the summer.
To fit in with the locals, while exploring glaciers
in Pangnirtung, a small Cumberland Sound community
(located on Baffin Island, a 1 hour flight NE of
Iqaluit), wear a "pang hat," a traditional crocheted
