The town of Tisdale is located in
northeastern Saskatchewan, approximately
40 kilometers (25 miles) east of Melfort.
Tisdale is known as the "Land of Rape
and Honey" for the local production
of rapeseed (canola) and honey. Not
surprisingly, this town is home to
the world's
largest honey bee!
