CCTC supports the Trauma, Vascular, Thoracic, Oncology and ENT programs and is the regional referral centre for Trauma and Vascular. CCTC supports and participates in ongoing research, quality improvement and multidisciplinary activities.Qualifications: Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario Two years of current Surgical/Medical nursing experience Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred Basic ECG interpretation CNCC(c) preferred Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice Demonstrated excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Ability to establish effective relationships with patients, families and members of the health care team Ability to work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team Demonstrated effective organizational skills involving time management and prioritization Demonstrated ability to manage change in a dynamic environment Demonstrated commitment to professional development and self-directed learning Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
